Hello All;

I am trying to decide which bipod to purchase for my AR (6mm WOA).  I am going to use it for hunting antelope on the plains of wyoming.  It will be a stalking hunt, so the shooting will be done prone.

I am torn between the Tango Down, Bobro Gen 2, and Harris offerings.  There are features I like with each, but I have not tried them out individually to compare.

Things I like about the Tango Down:  uncluttered snag-free construction, allows rifle to traverse as well as cant, locking deployment.

Things I like about the Bobro Gen 2:  lanyard deployable, locking deployment, infinate leg height adjustment.

Things I like about the Harris:  much cheaper ($119 with picatinny mount), proven design, spring loaded leg height adjustment.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

Thanks in advance....

I have a GG&G which is the Bobro gen 1 and a Harris on a Remington 700. The Bobro is very well made and finished. I am pretty sure the Gen 2 has a easy adjustable swivel tension which is a shortcoming for the Gen 1. If money is no object the Bobro Gen 2 looks worth a try but the Harris does the same job for almost half the price and I like the swivel quick lock lever that you can add for $15.

The Harris without leg notches can be adjusted to any position. I have not tried the Gen 2 quick deployment but it sure does not take long to grab the legs on a Harris and pull them down.
