[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help with chosing upper?

Well I assembled my lower a month or two ago and now I can not figure out what to do for the upper. I know I want a flat top, but that is it. The gun will be used for 3 gun comps and I will not be doing any shooting out past 100 yards. So I am leaning towards a 16" with m4 ramps, but I am not sure of what twist rate. So I am calling upon you pros to guide me.

I'd go 1-7 for the widest ammo selection.

For a competition gun 1/8 twist appears to be best bet. It has a good rep for handling all bullet weights.
