Has anyone had any experience with a "Panoramic" sight that is made by a company in Japan. I looked at one at the funshow today and was impressed. I am not sure of the name or the manufacturer, but came in a green box, had a lifetime warranty, and the repair center was in Florida. Cost was $199. It is a red dot reflex sight. I have been looking for an optical sight for my A3, but due to a visual problem, the Eotech, Aimpoint and others look blurry to me. This one gave me a perfect view. Any opinions on the quality of this sight? Also, my A3 has the full front sight, could I mount it directly on the rail, or do I need to get a riser to put it on. This is the first sight I have found that I can see clearly with. However I don't want to waste money if it is not worth it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

That would be the Hakko BED-24 if it has a round lens, or BED-35 if it has a square lens. I had the BED-24 and really liked it; with the "dot-within-circled-crosshair" reticle, it was easy to get a precise aiming point. For speed, just switch to the regular dot. You won't need a riser to mount it onto your A3. |
| The sight you asked about is a HAKKO, i have 3 i use on my ar's. if you check the SPORTSMAN GUIDE web site, the just got them on sales for $116.00/ea, when i first got mine they were about $200. As i said they are clear, light and a great red dot. (look on the hakko site) JIMBO |
