Hey guys, I am a collage student and I need some help with an essay. I am writing on the assault weapons ban and I can't seem to find any good material. Does anyone know of any good books or in depth articles that would help me. I already have lined up my interview with a police officer with 15 years experience. So now is just paper material work. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. |

I feel for you dude. Researching a difficult topic with no print literature is a real loser. A brief search on Amazon yielded some titles. I looked there. I could only find two books that refered to the AWB more than just two or three times. Balance of Power by Richard North Patterson and Complete AR-15/M16 Sourcebook: What Every Shooter Needs to Know by Duncan Long I was looking for a book just writen on the AWB. You would think with 10 years of the AWB someone would write a whole book on it. |

Would you like a copy of the Clinton Justice Department report on the AW Ban that it put out near the end of Clinton's term? My favorite part is when they can't show a reduction in the crime rate due to banning the weapons - yet they want the ban to continue 'just because'.
