Hello, I'm new to posting on the site but I've been reading here for several months. I've got almost every piece of info I needed from this site so I wanted to say thanks and that I plan to donate early next week. Anyways, I was hoping someone could advise me on the rings or mount for an IOR 4X24. It will be put on a bushy flattop. I was looking at ARMS #22 high rings. Does anyone else have this setup? I'm hoping the scope will sit high enough, but not too low. The other thing was, I have 6-pos stock and I was looking for a cheekrest does anyone have a link for one they've used that fits? All I can find is the colt 4-pos one. Thanks in advance, M |

I just ordered the stock, but the LaRue mount is $195. I was hoping to get out a little bit cheaper than that. Don't get me wrong, that mount looks badass, but I can't spend more than around $100 for mount/rings. By the way how do you like the IOR. I'm on the fence about that of the SS 10x for my flattop. Can't decide if the SS will look or be too big. THanks |
I love the ARMS 22H with a IOR they work great!![]() Mike @ CSGW www.csgunworks.com [email protected] Here’s some testimonials about CS GunWorks for AR15 Board What do YOU have to say about CS GunWorks |

Man, both of those look nice. I do see how the Larue has a lot more adjustment. I'm almost sold on the IOR 4x24 with the MP9 reticle. Since both of you have them, how far are you comfortable shooting with that scope? I have an EoTech and my eyes don't permit decent shots at more than 75yards. My range is limited to 350yrds so I hope I can get out that far with the IOR. Impactguns.com has the 4x24 for $340.00 which is the best price I've seen, anyone worked with them before? Thanks again for the help. |
My range has some steel plate on a hill out to 300 yards. Forest and I call this the "Scope of Death" shooting there. Nothing on that hill lives. ![]() I think it's a great pair up with the Eotech. 350 yards is no problem for it. Obviously you probably won't be shooting 1" groups at that range, it's only 4x. Haven't dealt with Impact Guns. I know I've seen the name around here for awhile, but that doesnt' mean much. On the other hand, looks like Mike at CS Gunworks has a better price yet (I haven't dealt with them either, but he is a board dealer and you can find feedback in the feedback forum on them)

If you want to spent $35.00, try the Thompson/Center Maxima Steel Scope Rings. They make three sizes. Midway USA P/N 516422 $34.99 Thompson Center 1" Maxima Weaver Rings High Matte 516633 $34.99 Thompson Center 1" Maxima Weaver Rings Low Matte 897786 $34.99 Thompson Center 1" Maxima Weaver Rings Medium Matte |
I'm about 45 minutes from Impact, they've treated me pretty good so far other than being really busy sometimes. Never have delt with them for mail order but they seem to do quite a bit of buisness that way, they have several shelves full of stuff ready to ship. If you have the discound from brownells they selll that scope for around $330?? I'd have to check to make sure. Also http://www.csgunworks.com/ sells it for $333.50, I've never delt with them just seen their stuff on the board here. Let us know how you like the scope, I was considering one but decided to go with a variable for the low power big FV. |
The IOR M2 has short eye relief so it does not need to be mounted forward the ARMS 22H give it plenty of movement. Mike @ CSGW |
