Ill hit the range this weekend see how it performs ! Ill keep you guys posted ! Im looking for some accesories to upgrade the look and feel of it ! Any info on that ? Reccomendations ? Matech rear sight, MOE grip, MOE or STR stock. Don't change out your hand guard until you've shot it a few times. You'll likely find that you love the feel. |
| I got a High Standard upper a few years ago and put it on a RRA lower. It has never caused me any kind of problem and it shoots Sierra 69gr. MKs into tiny little groups. This little carbine can shoot smaller groups than most of my bolt action varmint rifles. I think you'll like your new purchase, I am very impressed with mine. Does anyone know if this is the same company that made the .22 pistols? |

I bought my HS M4 from a friend about 2 months ago. At the time of purchase it was in factory M4 configuration, like yours. It has performed flawlessly, eating everything it's fed. The rifle is a fantastic shooter. If yours turns out to be Half the Rifle mine is, you'll be a very happy Owner. Congrats on you acquisition..! http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y6/los3088/SAM_0476-800-1.jpg Red gas tube and gas block I see. Nice touch. Havent really seen that before. OP, you got a good start. HS rifles ive shot have been pure bliss. They function great. Welcome to arfcom!! |

Does anyone know if this is the same company that made the .22 pistols? NOT same Company––-Name Only. Just like many bought out Companies of Today. The "original" HS gun were made in Hartford, Conneticut. I've got an original HS Sport 103, which is the lowend model, I inherited from my Granddad that he had from the early 60's. Del |

But honestly, I don't think that I've "Upgraded" my rifle at all. I look at it as "Modified". The only part that may be considered an upgrade is the trigger. The Mega Arms Trigger is pretty sweet looking and it breaks like glass. With that said, here's the list of the aftermarket parts I've recently installed..: Centurion C4 12" Rail Mega Arms Trigger Hogue Grip KNS Pin Set (totally unnecessary) Magpul Trigger Guard Magpul AFG2 Hand Grip Surefire M300 light w/Gear Sector Mount Leatherwood CMR optic w/ ADM Mount |
