Quoted: J&T is fine as is Sherluck, IMHO. I agree. The young lady from Sherluk at the last show sold me everything I needed, then when I was under my [self-imposed] dollar limit and went back for a few more small items, she gave me a very attractive discount. Good quality; good prices. They'll get a lot more of my business. |

Quoted: When you buy from Model 1, you get what you pay for - or less. These guys set up at some local shows. I avoid them like a bad disease. Arrogant, rude employees at the shows were my first clue. It went downhill from there. J&T is fine as is Sherluck, IMHO. Same here seen them at shows, asked to see some parts, when I did not buy they tossed them in a parts bin, Like FU man ! |

I recently bought an Model one upper. It was an A2 had an A1 front post and had the wrong detent the post could move 1/8 turn with the detent engaged. The trigger was defective and wouldn't allow the safty to be placed on with the bolt back. It also required more windage than most. I concur with the rudness complaints I have never tried J+T, but maybe it's time I did. How is their lower parts kits? |

I'm a repeat buyer at J&T can't say anthing better than that. Complete rifle kit comes with extra indent and spring. They only use the best of best no Cu springs and Colt triggers. edit: Oh yea, I forgot. The lady who does customer service is an angel. Gary the Armourer works the gun shows and learns what we expect and want. |

I have a very similar experience, only it was with J&T. I purchased a kit from J&T in January using phone order. I asked that an email be sent to confirm the final credit card charge since the guy taking my order seemed to be in a hurry for some reason. Three days later I had heard nothing so I called back to confirm the order had gone through and to get the final price. They could not find my order. This story has a little nicer ending though, because the guy was very nice and took my order again. It shipped out probably that day and I got it in about 4 days ground shipping. Unfortunately, I had asked for a post-ban M4 stock and received a CAR stock. I emailed them asking how we could go about fixing this and was told someone would call me to work out the details. Nobody called. Oh well, all together not a good experience. I am however very happy with the quality of the products I received. |

I Dealt with Model 1 years ago. The guy I used to deal with is no longer with them. He was the guy you needed to talk to. He set me up. My M-4 Type upper was all great quality stuff. Insulated handguards and the little blue ejector thing was installed to help ejection and just little extras. I see at shows now what they pass off as the same kit I bought and its a big quality change. Mine had a chrome lined barrel to. I deal with Sherluk in person now. |
