This is why you don't buy no name BCG's. There are no markings on the carrier or bolt. I shot about 50 rounds before this bolt completely failed and sheared of EVERY lug. All that was left was the extractor. I'll update later who I bought this from if he doesn't make it right. After the failure I threw in my Chrome Youngs NM BCG and it shot flawlessly for about 300 rounds. Same AR. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n31/bdcanetti/Facebook/Mobile%20Uploads/599153_2936462788328_1962639946_n.jpg http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n31/bdcanetti/Facebook/Mobile%20Uploads/531710_2936463468345_653084972_n.jpg Even if they "make it" right, you still should put a name on it, because the company who sold should also stop selling it |

And to prevent anyone who purchased these from potentially having the same if not worse problems |

You're right, it was from KlubFunstore in Rochester, NY. I'm also on a waiting list with about 125 others that have them on back order with him for another. Obviously I will not be buying the 2nd. No more no name crap! Please keep us updated on the situation with this, i.e. other bolts that broke, recall etc........you might want to ask them where they made in CHINA

I'm just worried that the next one will do the same. |

He might want to think about another supplier You could mention that his customer base will drop even know he replaces a broken no name bolt with another no name bolt Thanks for the heads up on this |

This isn't even a surprise anymore:
http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_3_118/605478_Bolt_EXPLODED_____Ceramic_Coated_Bolt___Need_Advice___.html&page=1#i5911619 If it is one of the Joe Bob's cera-plated bolts, they have a replacement program: https://joeboboutfitters.wufoo.com/forms/joeboboutfitters-ceraplate-bcg/ It's entirely possible that it just comes from the same OEM that made the problem Joe Bob's bolts, or some other manufacturer with poor heat treat QC. |

Problem is, since there are zero markings on it and I bought it from a LGS/ small online retailer, there is no way of knowing who made it. Lesson learned on no name firearm parts. And I highly doubt he will tell me who his distibutor is. |
