| I am making a simple sling out of nylon webbing, but the color I want is not available in 1.25 inch wide webbing. Has anyone used 1.5 inch wide webbing, and did it fit through the sling loops ok? |
| I have made several slings with 1.5" webbing but I always make the attachment with either a powder coated metal clip or (in a 3pt config) a seperate piece of 1" webbing to attach the sling. I am VERY comfortable with 1" slings overall and that is all I have on my rifles. I also have a leather sling on one rifle I would not trade for the world... |

The Boonie Packer sling I got is 1.5", fits just fine in 1.25" HK hooks and sling swivels. No worries, run it.
edit: Couple pics to show the difference in fit between the 1.25" webbing and 1.5" webbing in the same 1.25" snap hook. Excuse the pic quality, I just used my phone.
