I traded a Remington R1 for this and I immediately went to work. I wanted the rail to cover the entire barrel and muzzle device.

5.56  7.5 inch  1:9
Mega lower with an LMT ambi selector and Norgon catch
Thordsen buffer cover and CAA cheek rest
H2 buffer
Rail is a 4/15 slimline and I took a $39.95 Pig knock off and turned the knurling off of it leaving about .250 inch exposed on the business end
Arms and Midwest BUIS
Now it has an Eotech 552

I cant decide if I will use a TRL1 or a Fenix T11 with a tape switch or thumb button (I have both)

How I got it

I still need to see how it really runs with abuse

So just to confirm, you used a UTG PRO Slimline handgaurd and a knockoff PIG?

Any measurements on the inside diameter of the UTG Pro Super Slim by chance?  Was looking at it to use w/ a Kak Industry Slim Flash Can and was not able to find the internal diameter of the UTG Pro Super Slim hand guards.

Im not sure about 1:9 in a 7.5 barrel since its not getting a full turn.  I am doing a 1:8 with a 10.5

A 1:7 wouldn't get a full turn in a 7.5" barrel either ya know. Hell, can't think of any 6" or less handgun of any caliber that does.

Hint: it's not really a significant factor.
