install a free float rail?  I ordered a Daniel Defense 7.0 rail and just received it today.  I would have to send out my upper and the rail to have it installed because I really dont trust the local shops here.  

I am a do it yourself person, and I really like to learn everything about my hobbies.  I have a very good understanding of how things go together, and know how to work with tools.  I use to drag race, and I would do everything on my Mustang myself, including the engie, diff., electrical, etc...

Just wondering if anyone here has done this without any instruction.  Is it pretty straightforward?  Anything that is recomended?  Any tricks that I should know so that I dont cause any damage to the weapon?

I don't know if it shows the DD in particular, but it will show you the basics.
