I have a bunch of NHMTG mags and a few of other brands as well..

How long can a fella leave mags loaded and expect dependability from them...

Would you unload them every week, month, year to let the springs ''rest'' ??

Just keep a couple loaded and the rest empty ??

Rotate?

I suspect all of the above but what say you ?

                       thanks

Actually, loading/unloading is what causes the most spring wear. Load em and leave em.  They aren't going to go bad that fast. You can always replace a few springs here and there every few years anyway at little cost if it would make you feel better. FWIW, I only keep a portion of my mags loaded, those that are on my gear and in my home defense weapon.

This topic is discussed at least weekly  Actually I don't mind but I just wanted to use the "dead horse" animation.
