Does anyone know how many rounds you can shoot through something like the LE6920 before needing to replace the barrel?  Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I cant give you a numer of rounds but I guess the number vary on how do you use the barrel (full auto or slow semi-auto) and what kind of accuracy you want from it

20-50 thousand depending on rate of fire and diet of ammo.

I'd guess if you always run 5.56 ammo you'd see a slight increase in throat and port erosion as opposed to running .223 for practice.

Run it until you can no longer shoot MOB (Minute of Barn).

I've heard of barrels that went 20,000 rounds and were still acceptably accurate. You won't get that out of a match grade barrel, however, esp. if you are wanting to keep sub MOA performance. In that case I have heard tales of 3000 rounds being enough for one of those.

The real arbiter is that "it depends."

If you are OK with a 2 MOA rifle and you don't rip mag after mag through the thing until the barrel glows, that barrel will probably last, in practical terms, "forever."

If you are keeping track of your groups and only want the tightest, and you regularly heat the barrel enough to brand cattle, probably not that long.

If the rifle starts getting less accurate and it pisses you off, get it rebarreled. I doubt that will happen for quite some time, and if it does, you've got a substantive ammo budget, my friend. :)
