This might be a dumb question but what's the longest you guys have waited for the big brown truck (or the USPS) to deliver your orders. I'm not mentioning any names cause I'm not bitchin (just curious) but I placed an order on the west coast and I live in Ohio and tomorrow will be 3 weeks. I'm asking because I haven't ordered very much at all online so I don't know what kind of time frame to expect and if it IS a long time then I'm wondering if my crackhead neighbors didn't steal my stuff! Thanks.

definately not that long...i would have got a tracking number and been tracking that bitch...at a week and a half i would've called and asked politely where my shit is...at two weeks i would have been raising holy hell....at three weeks i'd be filling out some paperwork

Three weeks is excessive.  It shouldn't take more than a week.  You may want to call the place you purchased from and ask for a tracking number.  They also may have told you they had whatever you ordered in stock, when they really didn't (Botach).  Been there done that.  When all else fails, blame it on the crackheads.

Good Luck

Ground shipping from coast to coast should be 5-6 days MAX. I agree that you should always get a tracking number, it will tell you where the package is at any given time.

Couple of weeks ago Brown took 11 days to get a package to me from Maine.

Earlier this year it took them almost 2 weeks to get me a package from CT, and the vendor paid for 3-day select. (WTF, over?)

I would contact the shipper and get a tracking number. All is probably well, just a bunch of lazyass mofo's takin' their sweetass time getting you your product. But you won't know until you track it...and don't be suprised if they damaged it in transit.

USPS Priority Mail is the way to go!!!

I don't want to say who the company is because I have NO reason to believe at this time that they have anything to do with the "delay". I'll say that it's an outfit that probably EVERYBODY on the BIY forum has bought from and I know that they have a great reputation. Also they were supposed to send me a confirmation E-mail (I figure a tracking number would have been included in that) but I never got one, but my credit card HAS been charged. Since your opinions are that 3 weeks are excessive I'll E-mail them.  Like I said i've got no real prior experience to go on. Thanks for the input!

well i ordered from RB precision on a friday afternoon and had my upper half delivered via UPS.  The tracking info said that my delivery date was today the 4th.  It came yesterday....

they are in illinois and im in FL so i'd say thats pretty damn fine business right there..

I also want to say that whe ordering from online sources it is ALWAYS preferable to just get their number and call in your order.  That way you know it has been processed and you have piece of mind.  (don't know if you did call in or not)

Dude. CALL THEM!!

I work for a Mail order 4x4 company that's grown to be a decently large and well known company. and we don't know what's wrong until you tell us.

They may not get your email due to numerous reasons. You should CALL them, not email them.

In my experience, if they are in the same state it should take about a day to get to you. Across the states....4-5 days. Take in account for back-ordered items, and when they process the order (midnight? Late in the day?). if the item is back ordered they shouldn't charge you until it is in-stock and en-route to you (not all companies do this, but should).

Again, CALL them.
