Sear block in order to run an FA carrier?  I have no desire to take the whole thing out, but obviously a FA carrier is going to be a no-go.  Any ideas?

Just cut the part that sticks up above the receiver off.

Ummm... depending on the model, you may find that it came with an auto carrier.

Okay, you do have the PINNED IN block that sticks up above the top of the lower?
There are some how-to articles out there, but cutting off the offending part is easiest.
You could swap your Colt lower for something newer sans the sear block, Colt or otherwise.
