| Specifically, how do you tell between the packaging for older lacquer finished cases vs. the newer stuff with polymer finish? I'd like to be able to tell at a glance which is which on the shelf at my local Gander Mtn. and gun shows. |

Look at this. www.theboxotruth.com/docs/edu18.htm You're welcome. |

I use an M-16 chamber brusha nd lots of hoppes #9. seems to work really good evenafter a day of almost 250 rounds of wolf every session. Also, it seems to me the 62 grain stuff isn' as dirty and more accurate. I'm thinking the stuff is loaded a little hotter than the 55 grain. Gasoline sopped in the chamber also works really good in removing the carbon buildup. Of course I only use it sparingly and outdoors. |
Just a word of caution... Don't ever use gasoline for gun cleaning. It is entirely too flammable and is very dangerous to use in this application. Use Hoppes #9 or some other cleaner that is designed for this application. |
