I searched around on here a little but could not find out how to post hyperlinks that actually work.

There is a little globe and paperclip black box down at the bottom when you are replying to a thread. It's the second to last one. Copy and paste the link you want people to be able to go to and click on that little black box then paste the link on the pop-up.

You can also use this method:

{url}link{/url}

With [ and ] instead of { and }.

so you have to have your pictures on a website domain first? you can not pull them directly off your hard drive?

Correct you need to post them to photobucket or something.

Thanks for the info. I host my pictures on photobucket so it's easy to use their img tags, but I couldn't figure out the link part.

Side note, how do you embed videos? I assume the url part will just give the link, but I've seen videos embedded as well.

I use Hunt101 for a host. Then I can just cut and paste directly on my post.

Use the little movie thing and you will be able to put the URL of the video in the box. It's in between the photo icon and the hyperlink icon.
