I've got a friend who bought a quad-rail gas block for his Bushy M4A3 and wants to put it on there. I've also got a post-ban Bushy 20" HBAR that I want to convert to no-ban status, so I want to remove the front sight post and put one on there with a bayo lug (already had the barrel threaded and put a birdcage on there).
So we need to know how to best knock-out those taper pins and remove the sight post and anything specific to reinstalling the gas block or new sight post. BTW... I just realized that his M4A3 is the version with the 14.5" barrel and permanently welded Izzy, so I would imagine that he'll have to send his away to have the work done so the Izzy can be removed and rewelded (or at least the barrel completely removed so the sight post can be slid off the back)? |
