[ARCHIVED THREAD] - How would you build it?

I have a 16in CAR DD stripped barrel, and DD stripped upper (getting bolt carrier SOON). Im looking to do some free float rails but doing it all from scratch, and for the first time. How/What would you guys do? I have no D ring or anything so please dont forget the details. And if you cant tell... Im a noob.

First of all, watch the brownells videos on assembling the upper.
Then decide what other goodies you want

Edit: and for most of the free floats you don't need the delta ring
