How does Huldra stack up against bcm, spikes, bushmaster etc. where does it fall? I don't see too much talk in here about them.

Huldra

I have a Korstog middy upper (Korstog is a sub of Huldra). Been very pleased with it.

Huldra, Adams Arms, Korstog and Voodoo are all parts of the same company I think? Huldra is pistons and Korstog is DI.

OK they are rifles sold in Minnesota and Wisconsin in a farm supply store. who's owner is very pro gun.(now that we covered that)

I think they are good rifles(i own one havnt shot it yet) They use a melonited coated barrel and use mil-spec parts. i would say the quality is up there with BCM if you can live if a non chrome lined barrel

It's pretty cool that you can buy them in a farm and tractor store I don't know anything about them beyond that.

Yep. I regularly pick up feed for the farm, nails/tools/building supplies, then swing by their gun counter, grab some ammo, then hit up the military surplus aisle.

I've spent way too much money at fleet farm, and plan on continuing to do so.

Since when is chrome lining superior to a melonite treatment? No idea who makes their barrels, so they may very well be poor quality.

I couldn't get by the piston propaganda on their site. That's not to mean piston uppers are bad, because they can be very good. Claims like "The Huldra Mark IV Tactical Elite’s patented piston system technology will run cleaner, cooler, and longer than any other AR." are too much for me.

I guess no one ever did but you know there are guys out there that will say chrome lined barrels over everything else for longevity. do i believe no but there will be guys that say this what the military dose so it has to be better. VooDoo makes the barrels for the huldra rifles

Hey that's just selling a product. They are trying to get people to go against the grain and buy a piston system so they need to create excitement about it to get people to buy and that's just the way business works.

Not also can you get firearms stuff at this farm supply store but it has a great hunting and fishing section as well. and work wear. you can buy alot of things you need from there aside from food its is offend referred to as "The Man's Mall"

a lot of people couldnt get into their piston sale only, and that is where Korstog comes in, same family, just DI rifles. from what I have seen at my local fleet farm, they seem to be well equipped and fairly priced.

for example, its not uncommon to see an ACR stock, moe/ergo grips, BADASS selectors, samson rails, FA BCG's. I'de buy one... if they were in stock

Well I have one of the 556 uppers seems to shoot reloaded ammo just fine and the groups were petty decent we have alot of people of  Scandinavian decent so the name Huldra comes from  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huldra   so it is kind of cool

Im interested as well, My Fleet Farm in Fargo ND only carrys Huldra AR's (before this craze when you could bu em)

On a side note for Fleet Farm if your ever up this way.. they have probably the best Ammo prices in my town, they still get shipments of 91-30 Nagants, and there mil surplus and hunting/fishing section is decent.. I buy my dogs food there and cannot leave without seeing if they have any good 22lr, 12/20ga, 243, 270wsm, or .223 deals on the shelves.. its bad for my pocketbook

Ohhh Yeah. Wife is constantly harping at me about my fleet card always carrying a balance. I literally have to force myself not to stop at the Marshfield store when I'm over there. If Fleet doesn't have it, a man doesn't need it.

Love the Fleet Farm.

They always had a nice selection of rifles and pistols before everything got bought out. Bought 2 Tantals there last summer and a few tins of surplus 5.45x39, all at excellent prices.

I agree Mills Fleet Farm is one of my favorite places to visit, also it has enough other stuff that you can usually let the women go in the place too, and she can keep herself busy while you do your shopping.

Good prices on, firearms, ammunition although sadly the two a I visit most often Alexandria and Fargo, have been very low on ammo,  and wanted firearms.  Although you could ARs their about a month after everyone else was sold out.
