For those of you who watch such things, where do you try to keep your humidity for ammo storage? I picked up a humidity gauge at ChinaMart today and also have a dehumidifier for my ammo storage area. The gauge is reading OK at ~45% right now. I'll turn on the dehumidifier as soon as it stabilizes and see what happens. I'm thinking trying to keep it in the 'low' area as long as I am not running the DH all the time. As a side note, I have stored ammo under some very harsh conditions for very long periods of time (10 yrs.+) with no adverse affects. So, am I getting carried away? |
