A question for Hy-Tech block owners.  I've read the info at the top of the page about the Hy-Tech block.  Outside of the slight fitment issues with the seamless 32rnd UZI mags.  How has your Hy-Tech block been as far as dependability?  Is it pretty much plug & play as far as the block function goes?

Thanks for your input.

I just got one a few weeks ago. It fits the lower perfectly, and when you close the upper, it fits tightly enough so that you won't drop it free if you hit the AR magazine release button. I've only run 25 rndr Uzi mags, with the seam, and each one has run with no issues whatsoever. I'm using a rifle stock and buiffer, with perfect cycling. My only issue was that my bolt catch had to be relieved a bit on the inside bottom face ( where the spring/pluger hits it) to allow enough movement to actually hold the bolt open ( when maually engaged).

Pretty much to problems.  I've had some feeding issues, but those all seem to be magazine-related.
