What would be needed to mount a Bushmaster Carbon 15 97S upper to a REGISTERED SBR lower. The current lower is a 14.5" M4. Should the full length bolt carrier be used? Thanks.

The carrier in the carbon pistol is shorter right? It's intend to use on that funky buffer. Swap out the carrier for a longer one when switching.
