I've been thinking about picking up a VLTOR IMod to try out, and maybe replace my Gen 1 LMT Sopmod, but I have a couple questions that I couldn't find the answer to anywhere.
1. My only real complaint about the Sopmod is that I can't open the storage compartments without taking the stock off the receiver extension. Is the IMod the same way, or can they be opened with the stock still on the rifle? 2. Are the QD sockets rotation limited? Thanks in advance. |

I pulled mine out of the safe to check for you. I can remove the storage plugs and place/remove AA's into the tubes with the stock fully shortened. The sockets are not rotation limited, I checked. I like my imod but haven't got it out to the range today. Hopefully tomorrow!
