| I'm ordering a SS barrel from Krieger and would like to have it finished in ION Bond. Does anyone know of a place that can apply the finish? |

Just to verify - Ionbond is only done on the outside, not inside of the barrel right? I thought it was in and out or if they cover the ends, maybe it can be only outside. Be honest, I don't know and I guess it depends on how it's applied? If it's sprayed on then I can't see anyway for it to be internal but if it's dipped then maybe? My BCG came from BCM ion bonded. They look to be done all over. even inside the firing pin channel. That being said I have yet to see any finishing company do the inside of a barrel or chamber.
i must admit this finish is very nice and the BCG clean up a little quicker than my Colt and Armalite parkerized units. |
