I'm looking at the IOR 2.5-10x (30mm), and 2-12x (35mm)... I'm hesitant to get the 35mm because I specifically want the Larue SPR mount, I don't trust the default rings supplied by IOR Valdada.
I'm mounting it on a .308/7.62... does anyone use the default 35mm rings supplied by them, and if so can they withstand .308 recoil??
Are there any other options I have that are very similiar to the Larue mount for the 35mm? I understand there is one for 34mm, but will a 35mm tube fit into it? I don't wanna take the risk when the mount costs $200.Thanks.

The IOR rings are pretty heavy duty. However, US Optics makes 35mm rings and so does Badger IIRC.
US Optics might be able to make a 35mm one piece mount as well.

I have the 2-12x32 and the 35mm rings will more then handle the recoil from a .308 without a problem. I have seen them on 300 Win Mags and 50BMG. I wouldn't worry too much about IOR rings.

IOR rings are fine but call Larue last time I talked to them they said 35mm rings for the SPRs were in the works, maybe they have them by now.
