Is there a source that I could buy an IR laser on a personal purchase?

I was looking at a Hayes, but there was a thread recently about a guy who bought one with a ?9 moa dot.  Hayes said that was acceptable, and would not do anything about it.  Buyer beware.

What ever you do, don't buy a Corsak.  My Corsak's "dot' looked like a manta ray and was about 6 to 8 inches across at about 20 yards.  I don't even want to get into what a bitch those things are to zero.  I kept searching the boards for someone selling a good one and forked out for a Surfire L75.

we used AN/PEQ-2's on our M4's

pretty easy to set up and use if you can find 'em.

I own or have owned PEQ2s, PAQ4Cs, VITAL2, L75,  and even a Corsak was my 1st IR laser.

Having said that there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Hayes Research IWAL IR laser IMO.  I do not own one YET although I have played around w/ an IWAL2 and was very impressed.
