Hello can anyone help me with an Eotech 522 ?
All I get when I turn on to night vision is a red blur. I hit the NV switch and no optics. are battries low or is there a setting I am missing.
Thanks for your help. Also need factory phone number if you could. Voltage on each reads 1.34 volts.

Are you using night vision when you turn that setting on?

You should not be able to see anything with the naked eye with the NV setting on. Well if its bitch black dark outside you can barely make the reticle out....but no way in any kind of light.

If the batteries are low the reticle will go off and on for a few seconds when you first turn the sight on.

You cant really mess the settings up. Its either on, off, or in NV mode.

If you turn the sight on normally, and hit the NV button, and you can still see it brightly then your sight is messed up inside somehow.

If its ON, and in NV mode, you should not be able to see anything unless its pitch black darkness. This is because NVG's amplify light, and if it was any brighter it would cause the NVG tube to bloom, and can cause damage to said tube inside the NVG's.

Also if the reticle is blooming in normal ON mode you probably have the brightness setting way too high. It should only be about 2 settings above not being able to make the reticle out against your target depending on the lighting conditions.

Try turning the site on and if you don't see anything then hit the NV button. If you get a recticle then it should be fine. After that just adjust the brightness for your current lighting conditions.
