I'm new to ARs. I built an M4 flat top upper. My scope is hitting my standard handgaurds. I really don't want to raise the scope up. I'm looking for a lower profile handguard. Any suggestions

Although you state that you'd rather not raise the scope, the rings your using look pretty low. Almost looks like you're below the front post tower.
It would seem that a proper cheek weld would be fairly difficult to obtain. Taller rings may be the answer to a couple of issues. |
| Someone here already had the best answer, replace those M4 handguards with a set of older style carbine (thinner) handguards or a set of Magpul MOE handguards. It just depends on what look you are going after. You can find what you want in the EE, used AR upper section....<><....:) |

This is an issue....I use tall rings just for the cheek weld. laying across the buttstock is no way to shoot.. |
