I'm still new to this whole retro community, but as I'm reading about early constant curved magazines I recalled one I told my dad to toss out because it had been repaired and just looked like a crappy homemade magazine.
I had him send me these pictures, do you guys know what it is?

I'm no expert but it looks like an AR 180 mag with a repair of some kind.

It's an Ar180 mag. Same profile as the M16 full curve mag. I think the "repair" has something to do with it working properly in an M16/AR15 receiver. More knowledgeable people will be by I'm sure.

ArmaLite 30rd parkerized steel mag. Looks like some kind of crude modification, doubt it's a repair since they are of excellent quality, materials and design with no problem fitting any rifles they were intended for, AR-18,AR-180, AR-15 and M-16.

They're good mags, hopefully yours is still functional. They're a great stand-in for original full curve mags in retro pictures!

Big question is... What should I do with it? Should I fix that weld on the back and re-parkerize it?
