| Besides the B MP barrel markings, are there any other markings that would identify a bushmaster upper? |

What do you mean by T-marked? And I also heard that some Bushmaster uppers are marked with an L or Y on the rear takedown lug of the upper? Can anyone confirm this? You heard wrong.. They may have gotten a batch of such uppers once, but it's no regular thing. And if you don't know what T marks are, you're not looking at a Bushie upper. Also, the note above mentioning feed ramps is only correct for Bushies built inb the last few months. I don't know when Bushie went to the M4 type ramps; but it wasn't over 6 or 7 montyhs ago. And I'm not sure they're putting them on any but their M4 clones. |

the two Bushy uppers next to me at the very moment are 3+ years old. they are from a time when you could call and order whatever rifle you wanted and only wait a week or two. times have changed and parts are hard to get. there is almost no real way to tell if it is or is not a Bushy.
just look at the differences in the two i have at the moment.......... neither is T-marked, one has M4 ramps, the other has a Y on the *lug*, both are cerro forged and the finish is top shelf. i have, on my desk, a YHM upper receiver that is T-marked, has M4 ramps (very shallow), no mark on the lug, cerro forged and has an excellent finish. times are tough, take what you can get.......... |
