So I'm not new to AR-15's.But i just came across an LR-308 for cheap from a coworker. He stated he built it off a kit but it is starting to apper to be a frankengun. Most all issues were corrected by a quick order from brownells. However it has no markings on the barrel and the standard .308 a2 5/8" 24tpi doesn't fit. He states its a 1/2" 28 but i have measured and it looks like a 5/8" 28tpi. Anybody know anything on this who may have made the barrel, it is greatly appriciated. Thanks

Depends on how cheap you can get it.

You can always replace the barrel if it's cheap enough.
