I searched but couldn't find any reviews. I know they come from the same company that makes the IR LASERs that are issued by the .mil. But are the lights themselves of good quality?
They were marketed by Streamlight for years until the release of all of the LED lights and I think are still sold by Insight Tech. They were good lights at the time, but you can find much better stuff now. Streamlight TLR-1's run less than a hundred bucks, are brighter, and you will never have to change a bulb.
I am pretty sure that all of the M series streamlight weapon lights were made by Insight Tech. before they came out with the TLR series. I have an older Streamlight M3X that is identical to the current M3X that is sold by Insight Tech. So pretty much a Streamlight M3=an Insight M3. I also own both a Surefire X300 and a Streamlight TLR-1 and have to say that the streamlight is almost equal in performance to the surefire at less than half the price. I have not had problems with either one. You can usually find used M3's for less than $50, but by the time you upgrade it to LED (if desired) you will have a used light that cost as much or more than a new one. Just my .02.
