Anybody have an Insight Technology M6X weaponlight mounted on a rifle/carbine? I have one ordered for my 5.56 mm carbine and wonder how it will hold up to the recoil. Mine will be the rail-grabber version, which is supposed to be a more rugged mounting solution than the Slide-Lock system.

Mine sits on my USP tac currently, and it used to live on my .40 USP compact.  It's had thousands of rounds put through it's host guns and hasn't missed a beat.  Great little unit, and the laser and light are BRIGHT.

I'd imagine that the recoil it gets attached to an AR is less than it feels on either handgun.

I am going to put something similiar to it on my AR... a TLR2.  I love the switch on the TLR2 and it would work great with a foregrip.  I think the TLR2 should be able to handle a recoil as I have seen pictures of TLR1 on a AR's and FAL's.   Also I was thinking the laser on a TLR2 or MX6 will work great for CQB if you have an ACOG on your weapon.
