My apologies for not posting this in the Lights/Lasers forum, but no joy with the search funtion...again Can anyone comment about anything at all for this little dude? Any better than the Laser Devices ITAL or OTAL? I found one for sale ($515) at opticsplanet.com & did not know they existed until now. My interest in now sparked as I'm looking for a new compact vis laser & it seems like a fair price. I hope someone can give me some intel on this thing before I make an impulse buy. Thanks.

I bought one recently and I've been very pleased with it so far.  I haven't used an OTAL or ITAL so I can't offer much of a comparison - but I know the battery life on the CVL is much longer.  That, and the coolness of it being part of the SOPMOD program seems worth the little extra pricetag.

Ya, I couldn't resist for that reason so I went ahead & scored one from opticsplanet. Should be here by the end of the week. Just in time to try it out at swat practice. I'm used to the Surefire L72 vis & ir lasers. I don't like how it sticks out on the side of my rail, but the 'lil IT CVL appears to be very compact & I like the square package. Thanks for the response & attached pic. How do you like that acog?

Awesome, let us know how it works out for you!

The TA11 ACOG is absolutely amazing.  I upgraded from an EOtech and it made a world of difference.  Someday I'll have to branch out and get a 4x and a 1.5x mini too.
