I just installed a Magpul trigger guard on the Noveske lower that I just got. I must say, I was extremely nervous because of all of the horror stories that I've read on here about people breaking the ears off. The only issue that I have is that after putting the roll pin on, it's shinny from hitting it with the punch. What do I use to make it black again?

I already though about using a Sharpie but that will not protect the pin from rusting.

I think the pin that comes with it is blacken stainless.  It should not rust.  But a drop on oil should do the trick if in doubt. Donald

I use Birchwood Casey Presto Gun Blue pen for steel and Super Black touch-up pen for aluminum, or you could find other similar brands for touch-up.

In other words a Sharpie for $2 more. I saw these the other day and that's exactly what was going through my mind.
