Are there any special steps I shoud take to install a Dynacomp Brake on my rifle?  It's a 16" middie with a standard A2 FH, non-pinned, so pin removal is not an issue.  Any special torque settings, or just tighten it up (w/blue locktite) with the "bare" area of the comp at 6 o'clock?  I know it may be a stupid question, but I never claimed to be an Einstein.

Thanks.  Y'all are the best.

The first place I saw them for sale, they include a crush washer. Usually that means 'hand tighten' and then use a wrench to time/index it. (Bare/un-ported side down, in this case.) I wouldn't use any threadlocker, personally. The crush washer + torque needed to line it up should be sufficient.

I just put mine on last week.  it comes with a crush washer.  so just thread it on until you contact the washer and then index the solid portion in the 6o'clock position.  no need for locktite with the crush washer.
