Can I install a brake myself?  It seems as if all you have to do is drill a hole.

Is you  barrel   threaded?  if  not, theirs pin on  brakes, you just put a dimple in the  barrel where the set screw  make  contact.

Best to have a threaded barrel.

Nope, no threaded barrell.  And I don't think I am allowed to thread my barrell (NJ resident).

So I would be able to install this myself?  http://www.bushmaster.com/shopping/brakes/iz-102660-prbf.asp

Or does the drilling have to be absolutely perfect and should I let Bushmaster do it for me?

Bushmaster will install it for free, but if i could do it myself I would rather not mail out my rifle.

I have two SOG A2 Bird Cage post ban muzzle breaks.  It has six set screws.  Let me know if you want some pictures.  I'll sell them each for $25.00 shipped.
