Do I simply screw on and torque down? I don't know whether to use loc tight or not, I am only using the vortex temporarily until I get my aac blackout.

The vortex is the easiest flash hider out there to install.  
Hand tighten and then fire.
The 15 degree helix makes it a self tightening design

I gave mine a little snuggin because there is no way I'm going to loose my Super sexy VORTEX!!!

loctite is useless on a muzzle device because heat kills it.  your blackout will come with rocksett, which handles a retarded amount of heat.  but be ready for the ole tuning fork syndrome.
