| I just put together my pistol build, and I am missing the safety selector detent. I have one on the way. I do not have the selector in, nor do I have the spring held in by the pistol grip. Is it still safe to test fire? |

It's sp fast to swap it in, it would be stupid not to. Remember, this IS a firearm, not a lawnmower. If it don't run right, someone could be seriously injured. I am only missing a trigger guard and bolt catch detent for my 2nd lower but I am not going to fire it until it is complete. |
