[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Is my VCAS normal?

I just picked up a padded VCAS. I noticed that in the padded section of the sling the actual pad stops about 2 inches from the stiching toward the front end of the sling. Is this normal? Why doesn't the pad go all the way to the front of the padded section? Thanks for any help you can provide, sorry if my description doesn't make sense.

Mine stops about 1" from the stiching on both ends.
Doesn't matter to me.

As long as the padding is where it's supposed to be.................
