I'd like to find a light-weight, flat-top upper with no forward assist. Is there such an animal?

1. vulcan arms carbon fiber ( from what i have heard actually not bad)
2. RRA 9mm ( take off 9mm gas deflector)
3. M&A Parts 9mm ( same as above)

Not knocking the post, just pointing Iout what I have heard. A 9mm upper most liekly will not have the hole for the gas tube in it, although there have been a few exceptions to this.

Try Total Silence, inc for the flattop upper receiver with no forward assist.

thanks for the info on the vulcan( finally decided against it then).

ASA 9mm also ( IIRC these are the ones with gas tube holes)
ASA's look a little different than the other 9mm also.

anybody have an RRA or M&A 9mm upper that can look to see for sure if they have a hole or not?
