Picked up a new 10.25" upper over the weekend from a gun show. Seller said it was from a small New Mexico Gun shop that does their own uppers. It looked to be well made and I got it pretty cheap as no one wanted it thinking it had to go on a SBR. It is brand new and will work perfectly on my Spikes pistol lower.
I'm not an expert.... but the barrel doesn't have any markings that I can see saying it is chromed unless they are under than handguard. Their really usn't any space to be marked because the barrel is so short. Barrel is chrome Moly Steel Does this chamber look to be chromed? It is hard for me to tell. I guess I don't know what exactly I am looking for anyway. What ya think? looks shiny enough to me to be chromed. Thanks Guys... Now I have all the parts I need for my next projects... its gonna be a 10.25" pistol on a Spikes tactical lower. can't wait to get it together. I wasn't real worried about the chrome lining... I just wanted to know so I break her in the right way. I've always heard non chrome lined chrome moly barrels need a longer break in with tons more cleanins between shots.
