Hey Sky,glad you got the linkie to work..As for the scope, there's no mention in the description of it being "retro" and it's definitly not,so seller is not misrepresenting it,I'm not familiar with it per say,,it's just a new made scope.I guess we need to do some "price shopping " to see if the price is "fair market value"......

It's a Hakko made 4x21 carry handle scope with an illuminated reticle. I guess they're wanting so much for it since it's Colt branded. Mine is Hakko branded, and I paid $85 for it a little over a year ago in the EE, but I have seen them sell for around $250.

ETA: The reticles between the two are different, and the Hakko version has step-downs in the body that the Colt doesn't. Also, the Colt sits forward in its mount, and the Hakko sits a little more rearward.

its a Cmore  from the mid to late 90s, colt offered  it and a few more   at the time,  they even had a 10x 30mm tubed target/sniper scope that had some nice features.
its not a retro  scope by any means. but they are rare to run across. I have looked for the 10x colt marked target scope for years

C-More and Hakko must be or must have been somehow affiliated. But you are right. It is a C-More. It says it on the manual if you look closely. I thought the box was just a C-More box that the seller used to store it in.

I have one of the 4X C-More's, but it's marked C-More instead of Colt. It's more retro-style than the version on Gunbroker, and is not illuminated. It also doesn't have an integrated mount, nor the carry handle locking lever.

Or...Maybe you just have yours mounted backwards.  That would explain why those bullseyes always look so small way out there!
