I just installed the arc fire by as designs and I love it but I’m having a few issues. 2 specifically. First is the fact I can’t get a constant rate of fire. It’ll fire 5 or 6 rounds as expected at a high rate, then stop. I have to completely let off the trigger to fire anymore. And then it might only shoot 1 or 2 in a semi automatic fashion. Then it’ll shoot 5-6 in that arc fire rapid rate. How can I get it to fire an entire magazine non stop? Next issue, is the rate of fire itself. It seems slow. Anyway I can speed it up? And info on this would be great! Thanks! |

Mine needed an H3 buffer that uses sliding tungsten weights inside of it to work. I was getting 6-8 shot bursts. I was using an H2 buffer with powdered tungsten inside, it didn't work in FRT mode. Folks here taught me that indicates bolt bounce, so you need a heavier buffer. I can't help on your ROF issue. |

Quoted: No expert here, but I read somewhere the other day that if your rate of fire is too fast, a heavier buffer tube will slow it down. Perhaps then, the opposite is also true? Wonder if say for instance you have a H3 installed, maybe the H2 would speed it up? If you want to Ricky Bobby+ you need to increase your cyclic rate. That will be through tuning system and treating the gas, buffer spring and buffer as inputs. You need the dead blow weights and I think the lowest folks have successfully gone have been H2s but I believe that takes tuning in most cases and not always going to work with the combination of parts you have. This all based on what I know from tuning my rifles without a FRT so someone with more knowledge on the subject will be able to provide more information. |
