Issues with 32rd CP magazines
Has anyone had issues with CP 32rd mags locking open in a new production 6450? I have thirteen 32rd mags (two are Colt “factory mags”) and ten 20rd mags Three of the 32rd magazines won’t even fit into the mag-well. (appears to be a sloppy welding job on the back of the mag is making the mag too wide front to back). The other ten magazines won’t hold the bolt open. Eleven of the thirteen 32rd magazines have black followers and are teflon coated. The other two have orange followers with marlube finish (factory mags). However, the 20rd mags lock the bolt back fine. Anyone have similar issues? Poor Quality Control perhaps? I wrote CP approximately a month ago and they said they would send me new followers, but haven't heard a thing since from them. I followed up with one email since and haven't received a response. ETA: I called them today and was told to send them all back. They couldn't have been nicer about it. |
