I don't know anything about the JP trigger but I do have a RRA 2 Stage NM Trigger on both of my Bushmasters. It sure beats the hell out of the stock military trigger. Your shot groups and accurracy will improve with a 2 stage trigger. I can say that for a fact. Here's a link to the Triple Break website. www.triplebreakproducts.com/RRA/two_stage_trigger.htm I don't know how much the JP trigger goes for but you can get a RRA trigger from Triple Break cheaper than what you will pay Rock River Arms on their website. Hope this info helps. |

I have 2 JP Trigger & Hammer combos, 1 Jewell and 1 Bushmaster NM Trigger. My JP's are breaking at 2lb and 2.75lb. The 2lb is 90% on surplus while the 2.75 has been 100% for about 8 years now. I have the 2lb really light but it is in a Bushy Varmiter that was not bought to shoot surp in anyway. The are fantastic, but like was mentioned in the above, they take some time to set up, but the results are fantastic. The fact that I have 2 of the JP's must say something. The Jewell is a 2 stage, it is easier to install and I like it al lot. It is so easily adjustable that I can make it feel like a single stage and probably get it to maybe 2lbs. I have it in a Service Rifle so it is set to 4.5lbs, 4lb short take-up and a 1.5lb break. Excellant trigger. The Bushmaster NM Trigger came in the Varmiter, just so so, but I have not had a lot of time with it. It will most likely live in my 20" V-Match. Good Luck Bill |
