I think i'm gonna put a JP muzzle brake on my AR, if i do what kind of crush/peel washer do i need so its timed correctly on standard threads and does anyone else have this unique looking brake and if so what do you think of them?

Are you talking about the JP BC comp, or their "Tank" brake?

ajangler, I have both of the JP comps in use(BC Benie Cooley signature model and the original JP model.) Both are very effective as brakes, only downside is the noise the do produce.

BC model is on a 16" CAR with a TA31, great for double taps on 3 gun run/gun type courses.

JP original model on a 20" heavy barrel 3x9x50 Leupold, great for chasing that get away prarie dog back to the hole in a dog town, you can see each bullet impact due to reduced recoil.

I believe each of JP's comps have different purposes, hope that helps. Jeff
