[ARCHIVED THREAD] - JPoint?

Anybody have experience with the JPoint?

Lookin to put one on an arf, also on my wife’s little Ruger 22/45.

If you wouldn’t mind giving me a few minutes of your thoughts and experiences, I’d be grateful.

I've had mine for about a year on a Ruger 10/22 - works great and is a lot of fun.

The one I got back in 2001 is still on its original battery, it's not very bright like it was but still usable indoors and at night. I'm waiting till the dot gets dimmer before I swap out the battery. Zeroing can be a pain if you don't read the manuals (hint: read the manuals

)

Mine didn't work right out of the box. I could see a dot if it was completely dark but that didn't get it. Yes I tried 3 new batteries. returned.

We have them issued to us and mounted on our ACOGS. I really like them, a bit aquard to get used to at first being on the top of the ACOG but they work great. Just tie something to the cap so you dont loose it or your battery will run out quick as that is what turns it on and off.

Yep, something I wish the Docter sight had to string a paracord through

The one without a cord through the cover lest I lose it is the Docter sight on top of a TA31DOC.
