| They don't make the parts, they just put them together. I bought one complete upper and one kit. Both look and function fine. I think their shipping charges are a little high and EVERYTHING needs to be signed for, even a $1 spring. Not a deal breaker just a PITA. |
I recived my upper on Saturday. The BCG was a little tight and everything was set up well. After disassembly, cleaning and lubing, I put about 90 rounds through it. I had about a dozen fail to feeds using two different magazines. The magazines are my old range mags so they might have been the problem. As the round count got higher the FTF disappeared.

I've had my upper from them for about a month and just recently took it to the range. No real issues but a couple of times it did not lock the bolt back on the last round. Not a huge issue and I was loading the mags lightly with only 1-4 rounds for a break-in session and only put a total of 20 rounds through it that trip. I won't really judge it until I get more than 150-200 rounds through the pipe.
That being said, I love this upper! It is exactly what I wanted and looks great on my CMMG lower. The parts they used are Grade A and for a great price, around $580 after S&H. My one question is if they only assemble the parts then who milled the actual upper receiver? I thought that was made by them and the rest was assembled. I also posted this in the Build it yourself forum. There is one spot on the inside of the receiver where it looks like the coating chipped off. I noticed it when I first disassembled it for cleaning and lube but I am planning on eventually duracoating or cerakoting it so not a huge deal.
